How to Connect

1. Open your AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible client)
2. Add Deskfirst as an MCP integration using the server URL: https://mcp.deskfirst.com/mcp    
3. You'll be redirected to sign in or create a Deskfirst account
4. After authenticating, you're connected — start using Deskfirst tools right away

A free trial or Pro account is required.

File & Folder Organization

List and search files across your deal rooms. Create folders, add shortcuts, and embed integrations.

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

If Claude can't connect to Deskfirst:

• Try disconnecting and reconnecting from Settings > Connectors
• Make sure you're signed in to your Deskfirst account
• Check that your account is active (free trial or Pro)

Tools Not Working

If a tool returns an error:

• Some features require a Pro account (e.g., cloning desktops, templates)
• Make sure you have the right permissions on the desktop (manager role for editing)
• Check that the desktop or file ID is correct

Email Verification

If you signed up with email and password, you'll need to verify your email before you can access Deskfirst. Check your inbox for a verification email.
