Adding Team Members

Because every Deskfirst user can only be in one Team at a time, it’s highly recommended to invite the people in your organization to your Team with their work email to avoid conflicts with personal accounts.

Prerequisites

  1. Before you can use the Team feature, you need to have a Pro license (learn more about Pro).
  2. To invite members to your Team, you need to have available Pro licenses (learn more about Purchasing and Reducing Pro Licenses in Your Team).
  3. The people you’re inviting to your Team can’t be a part of another Team.

Can I add members who don’t have a Deskfirst account to my Team?

Yes, you definitely can! We’ve designed the process of adding members to your Team to be as frictionless as possible.

When you invite members who don’t have a Deskfirst account to your Team, they will be assigned a Pro license automatically, and they will also receive an email prompting them to sign-up for a Deskfirst account to enjoy immediate access to your Team and all the benefits that come with a Pro license!

Add a member to your Team

When you add members to your Team, a Pro license will be automatically assigned to them.

This is how it’s done:

  1. Click on the profile icon on the top menu.
  2. Click on My Team.
  3. Click on Add Member.
  4. In the Email field, enter the email of the member you’d like to add to your Team.
  5. Choose the role you’d like them to have (learn more about Team Roles).
  6. In the Description field, enter anything about the member you’d like to appear in the Team members list. This will be visible to everybody on the Team.
  7. Click Assign Pro.
  8. A popup will appear confirming that you’ve successfully invited a new member to your Team. Click OK.
